Easy Homemade Mayonnaise Recipe
A homemade mayonnaise gives the flavor to an easy egg salad recipe, is perfect for a homemade potato salad or makes a feast out of steamed vegetables.

- 30ml of milk
- 125ml of vegetable oil
- 2 tsp of mustard
- 2 tsp of lemon juice
- Pepper and salt
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
Tip: If you prepare a dairy free mayonnaise, then replace the milk with an egg yolk.
Step by step:
- Pour the milk into a mixing bowl. (for a dairy-free mayonnaise, replace the milk with one egg yolk)
- Using a hand mixer and while at high speed
add the oil to the milk drop by drop.
- When both liquids are combined
(this may take a while), add the two teaspoons of mustard and the two
teaspoons of lemon juice and blend them thoroughly in.
- Season with salt and
pepper from a grinder and fold in the garlic crushed in a garlic-press.
