Delicious Apple Sauce Recipe

  • 1kg of apples, peeled, quartered
  • Spices: cinnamon, clove
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • 3 tbsp of water
  • ½ a lemon, juice

Step by step:

  1. Wash, quarter, core and peel the one kilo gram of apples and collect them in a saucepan.
  2. Pour three tablespoons of water into the saucepan.
  3. Add the tablespoon of sugar with cinnamon and clove to taste.
  4. Cook the apples on low heat for about 30 minutes, until the fruits disintegrate and reach a creamy consistency.
  5. Add the juice of ½ a lemon to prevent discoloration.
  6. If you like a chunky apple sauce you can finish here otherwise either use a strainer or blender to get a smooth even apple sauce.
